Kavita Patel

Kavita is an MBA candidate at MIT Sloan School of Management. Prior to Sloan, Kavita worked in BlackRock’s Financial Institutions Group advising investment teams of insurance companies on market trends and investment opportunities in public & private markets. Kavita focused on several sustainable investing initiatives in her role, including ESG, climate change, and coal analyses of the US insurance industry’s investment portfolios, designing BlackRock’s inaugural Sustainable Investing for Insurers roundtable, and exploring climate finance in EMs. She worked in corporate strategy at the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Kavita graduated from NYU Stern with a B.S. in Business & Political Economy
