Kwame has nearly two decades of experience in financial services focused on investment management. Kwame is seen as a leader within the private equity industry and has built an extensive network of PE/VC industry relationships.Kwame is a resource within the private equity community including speaking on panels on various topics regarding running the back-office function at a private equity firm. He was a member of two PE CFO advisory boards, Chief Financial Officer of ACON Investments, a $5.5 billion AUM private equity firm with strategies in the US, Latin America and Europe.Prior to joining ACON, Kwame was a senior manager at PwC leading its Alternative Investments Practice in Washington D.C. He has significant experience within the private equity industry and private equity fund-of-funds and endowments, including exposure to many accounting, operational and reporting issues involving investment securities.Kwame is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts and Virginia. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants which is based in the United Kingdom. Kwame is a CFA® charter holder.
