ChargerHelp! is a black women-led cleantech company providing electric vehicle charging infrastructure maintenance services and training. Founded in 2020, ChargerHelp! has built a 2-part solution consisting of (1) EMPWR, a reliability analytics and service management software platform and (2) Reliability Services (RaaS) aka field services with certified EV charger technicians. The Company trains and upskills these technicians who are then hired as full-time employees.
Why We Invested
We supported Include Ventures’, an emerging fund manager, warehousing of ChargerHelp! for their Fund I portfolio. This bridge (to Series A) investment was out of our Catalytic Capital envelope, WoWE supported a first-time fund manager with their capital raise and invested in a company at the intersection of gender, climate mitigation, and workforce development. ChargerHelp!’s team is 70% people of color and 30% identify as women or gender non-conforming.
